Social Entrepreneur opens applications for the 22nd edition
The 22nd edition of the Social Entrepreneur Award is now open for applications, seeking solutions to socio-environmental challenges of the 21st century.
The 22nd edition of the Social Entrepreneur Award has officially opened its applications, inviting innovative projects that address pressing social and environmental issues both in Brazil and globally. This yearβs focus includes tackling inequalities through social inclusion initiatives, climate change mitigation and adaptation, promoting rights, citizenship and democracy, as well as ensuring access to essential services like health, education, and housing. The use of technology for positive societal impact is also emphasized.
Candidates can apply via the Prosas platform until April 30 at 6 PM, competing in two distinct categories: Social Innovators of the Year and Solutions that Inspire. The competition encourages collaborative approaches that engage with complex challenges and aim for scalable impact. Eligible participants include NGOs, impact-driven businesses, cooperatives, and social movements, fostering a diverse pool of applicants committed to sustainable development.
The finals will see the selection of six finalists from all the submissions, and the winners will be announced during a ceremony, highlighting the vital role of social entrepreneurship in addressing the challenges of modern society. This initiative not only celebrates innovation but also seeks to inspire further actions toward socio-environmental responsibility in the community.
