Applications for the 2026 Tecnoshow Comigo Journalism Award are currently open until February 20, 2026. The award's theme this year is 'Agro Connects,' which seeks to highlight stories that explore the relationships between agribusiness and various societal aspects, such as the connections between rural and urban environments, producers and consumers, as well as the interplay between research and practical implementation, and between productivity and sustainability.
Journalists and communicators from across Brazil are invited to participate, with the eligibility criteria stating that submissions must have been published between January 1, 2025, and February 20, 2026. Each participant can submit up to three works across multiple categories, and there is no registration fee. The award includes various categories such as written submissions (print or online), video, TV, radio, podcast, and photography, with substantial monetary prizes awarded to top entries.
Winners will be announced during the Tecnoshow Comigo 2026 event, scheduled for April 6 to 10 in Rio Verde, Goiás. The recognition provided by this award not only encourages journalistic contributions in the essential field of agribusiness but also emphasizes the importance of sustainability and agricultural practices in Brazilian society, potentially guiding future reporting in this critical sector of the economy.
