Amid LPG Crisis in Ayodhya, 'Ram Rasoi' Will Not Shut Down, New Method Adopted

Ayodhya's 'Ram Rasoi' is facing challenges due to disruptions in LPG supply caused by international tensions, but efforts are being made to continue operations.

Due to international tensions triggered by the Iran conflict, supply disruptions of LPG and oil are being felt worldwide, impacting daily life in various regions including Ayodhya, India. The renowned 'Ram Rasoi' in Ayodhya, which serves meals to thousands of devotees, is facing a significant crisis as the local temple administration has had to limit its free dining hours due to this LPG shortage. The manager of the Amava temple indicated a commitment to providing food for devotees, despite the challenges posed by this shortage.

In response to the LPG supply issues, the temple administration has outlined alternative cooking methods to ensure that the 'Ram Rasoi' can continue its service uninterrupted. These alternatives include the use of rice cookers, electric cookers, and traditional fuel sources such as coal and wood. This shift not only aims to keep the food service ongoing, but also to ensure that the offering of 'Prasad' (sacramental food) remains available to devotees, amidst the backdrop of rising difficulties in sourcing cooking fuel.

Additionally, the production of 'Ladoo Prasad' at approximately 150 local shops in the Hanumangarhi area has also been affected, calling for innovative solutions to maintain these religious traditions during the crisis. The temple administration's dedication to these services reflects the deep cultural and spiritual significance of 'Ram Rasoi' in the community, and the measures taken highlight the commitment to uphold these practices even in challenging times.
