In a significant cultural initiative, RM, the leader of the globally popular K-Pop group BTS, made a donation of 100 million won back in September 2022. This funding has culminated in the release of a catalog titled "IT'S ______ HERE: The Glorious Korean Old Paintings Abroad". The project aims to highlight the beauty of Korean art by consolidating references to traditional Korean paintings, which are housed in various prestigious foreign museums and art galleries. The catalog features an array of 24 masterpieces dating from the early 16th century to the 20th century, showcasing genres such as landscape paintings, portraits, and floral arrangements.
