BTS's J-Hope Donates 300 Million Won for His Birthday

BTS member J-Hope donated a total of 300 million won on his birthday, contributing to a children's hospital and an organization supporting students in need.

On the occasion of his birthday, J-Hope, a member of the popular K-pop group BTS, made a generous donation totaling 300 million won. According to Seoul Asan Medical Center, J-Hope contributed 200 million won to support the development of their children's hospital. He expressed his belief that children can move towards a hopeful future and wished for them to overcome their pain and pursue bright dreams. This act of philanthropy is also a way for him to give back to his devoted fan base, known as 'ARMY', and he expressed gratitude for being able to continue this meaningful practice of sharing after contributing 100 million won last year.

In addition to his donation to Seoul Asan Medical Center, J-Hope also donated 100 million won to the Child Welfare Organization Green Umbrella, which will be used as scholarships for students from his hometown. The organization plans to select students in need from Gwangju International High School and Jeonnam Women's Commercial High School to receive these scholarships. Since 2019, J-Hope has been supporting students facing financial difficulties, and this year's contribution further solidifies his commitment to aiding education for those in need.

By donating more than 1 billion won to various causes, J-Hope has officially become the 14th member of the 'Green Noble Trinity Club', an assembly of significant benefactors. His contributions not only emphasize his charitable spirit but also highlight the responsibility of public figures to give back to society, reflecting the positive influence they can have on their communities.
