The arrest was made by the Military Police's Tactical Force during a routine inspection of a bus traveling from Campo Grande, MS to Rio de Janeiro, RJ, where a suspicious passenger caught their attention. Upon searching the man's luggage, police discovered 10 bricks of hashish, leading to further questioning.
During the investigation, the suspect admitted to having smuggled the drug from Bolivia, with São Paulo being the intended final destination. He revealed that he was to receive $500 for his role in the transportation.
