Brazilian sought for international trafficking arrested in Bolivia

Douglas de Azevedo Carvalho, popularly known as Mancha, was arrested in Santa Cruz de La Sierra, Bolivia, by the Federal Police and the Civil Police of Minas Gerais on Sunday (15). He was wanted by the Brazilian Justice for his involvement in drug trafficking and organized crime, with an arrest warrant issued by Minas Gerais authorities. His name also appeared on the Ministry of Justice and Public Security's Program Captura, which catalogs priority fugitives.

The authorities revealed that Carvalho faces multiple charges, including international drug trafficking, interstate trafficking, money laundering, and participation in organized crime.
