A report indicates that Russia remains the third largest arms exporter globally from 2021 to 2025, despite a significant drop in its share of international arms sales.
A recent report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) has revealed that Russia is ranked as the third largest arms exporter in the world for the period of 2021-2025. This achievement is shadowed by a steep decline in its share of global arms exports, which fell to 6.8% compared to 21% during the previous five years of 2016-2020. The findings highlight a significant downturn in Russia's military exports amid rising competition from other nations in the arms trade.
