Record Temperatures Expected on Tuesday - Sunset Might Be Exceptional

Finland is anticipated to reach record temperatures this Tuesday with local highs around 11 degrees Celsius, although the weather will trend cooler and cloudier later in the week.

This coming week, Finland is set to experience unusually warm weather on Tuesday, with temperatures possibly reaching record levels for the year, according to Forecaโ€™s meteorologist Joanna Rinne. She explains that regions may experience temperatures up to 11 degrees Celsius, marking the warmest temperature recorded this year. In general, however, the week will see a shift towards more cloudiness and precipitation as conditions begin to cool down.

Monday is predicted to be the coolest day of the week, with temperatures ranging from 1 to 6 degrees Celsius in the southern and central parts of Finland, while the north could experience freezing temperatures. The weather forecast includes sporadic rain showers moving east across the southern and central areas, accompanied by a snow front arriving in western Lapland later in the evening, bringing 2-4 centimeters of snow. Elsewhere in Finland, there is expected to be some clearer and sunnier periods throughout the day.

On Tuesday, a high-pressure ridge will strengthen over Finland, allowing warm air to flow in from the south. This will result in warmth spreading across the southern and central parts of the country. However, as the week progresses, autumnal conditions will return, and Finns can expect a transition to more typical weather patterns with increased cloud cover and precipitation across the country, balancing out the brief warm spell anticipated at the start of the week.
