The Põltsamaa Team Became the U-18 Indoor Football Champion

The Põltsamaa team won the U-18 championship in the Estonian indoor football championship, defeating rivals from Tartu and Ida-Virumaa in the finals.

In the Estonian indoor football championship for the U-18 age group, the Põltsamaa Motiiv Sport team triumphed over their northern rivals, claiming the championship title. During the final tournament held at the Jõhvi Sports Hall, Põltsamaa secured their place in the final by narrowly defeating Tartu vald Ravens Futsali with a score of 2:1 in the semifinals. They went on to dominate the final match against Ida-Virumaa Dina JK Noova, winning decisively with a score of 3:0.

The championship victory marked a significant achievement for Põltsamaa, where key players included Romek Sten Jürgens, Joonas Kalberg, Karl-Erik Kirsipuu, and others, all guided by coaches Silvar Luht and Silver Nõmmiksaar. In total, eight teams participated in the championship, showcasing the competitive spirit and skill of young athletes across Estonia. Sillamäe/Jõhvi Silla FC Phoenix's performance also deserves mention, as they finished third after a strong season, although they fell short in the semifinals against their county rivals.
