On February 27, Estonia's U19 girls' football team faced their first match in the EM qualifiers held in San Marino, where they achieved a narrow victory against the host nation with a score of 1-0. The Estonian team demonstrated clear dominance throughout the game, as reflected in the shot statistics, which favored them at 14 shots to just 3 for San Marino. Early opportunities were created, notably by Pilleriin Pohlak, whose long-range shot in the fourth minute went over the crossbar, and another attempt by Nicole Kelli in the 36th minute that was well saved by the goalkeeper.
In the second half, Estonia made two substitutions and intensified their offensive efforts.
