Famous forecaster's prediction - a bright spring: here’s what to expect
A Lithuanian forecaster predicts a warm spring, with temperatures rising and less snow expected as the season progresses.
A prominent forecaster has offered an optimistic weather outlook for Lithuania as spring approaches, noting a continued influx of warm air from the south and southwest. This change in weather is expected to help melt lingering snow, which should diminish significantly by the end of next week. Although chilly nights may persist, the forecast indicates an overall warming trend during the day.
In the coming week, there will be increased cloudiness, particularly on Wednesday and Thursday, potentially leading to less warming during those days; however, precipitation is not anticipated. Later in the week, Lithuania may find itself between two weather systems, with stronger winds from the south and southeast bringing additional warmth, which will help land already freed from snow to warm even further, resulting in nearly uniform temperatures across the country.
The forecasted temperatures could reach as high as 13 degrees Celsius, with sunny days dominating. The forecaster, E. Latvėnaitė, also mentioned that while Sunday (March 8) is expected to remain dry, fog may be present in the morning.
