Datafolha: Lula has 46% rejection, Flávio 45%, and Ratinho Jr. 19%

A recent Datafolha poll reveals that President Lula and Senator Flávio Bolsonaro are nearly tied in rejection rates, with 46% and 45% respectively.

The latest Datafolha survey indicates that President Lula of the Workers' Party (PT) faces a significant rejection rate of 46%, closely followed by Senator Flávio Bolsonaro of the Liberal Party (PL-RJ) at 45%. This data shows both figures as the most disliked candidates among potential presidential contenders ahead of the upcoming elections. The survey revealed that when voters were asked whom they would never vote for in the first round, these two politicians garnered the highest negative responses.

Following Lula and Flávio in terms of rejection were Fernando Haddad with 27% and Ratinho Jr. with 19%, among others like Tarcísio de Freitas and Romeu Zema with negative opinions ranging from 15% to 18%. The Datafolha poll interviewed 2,004 voters across 137 municipalities between Tuesday and Thursday, with a margin of error of ±2 percentage points, reflecting registered electoral codes.

While Lula currently leads in first-round voting intentions across all scenarios presented in the poll, Flávio's growing candidacy suggests potential shifts in voter dynamics, especially as it notes a technical tie in second-round matchups between the two. This data is critical as Brazil prepares for its elections, indicating intense competition and varying levels of voter support among key candidates.
