Estonia secured seventh place in the sprint relay at the World Orienteering Championships held in Japan.
At the World Orienteering Championships in Japan, the final day saw the crowning of sprint relay world champions. The Norwegian team emerged victorious, with participants Jørgen Baklid and Anna Ulvensoen completing the race in a time of 55.45 minutes. The competition was intense, as expected, with Finland's Niklas Ekström and Amanda Yli-Futka finishing just a second behind, and Sweden's duo Andrei Lamov and Anna Magdalena Olsson trailing by two seconds. Switzerland took fourth place, seven seconds behind the victors.
The Estonian team, consisting of Olle Ilmar Jaama and Doris Kudre, maintained a position within the fifth to seventh range throughout the event.
