The Glass Ceiling Still Limits Women's Careers in Large Companies

A recent analysis reveals that while women's representation in management roles in Poland is notable, particularly in accounting and e-commerce, progress has stagnated in recent years following earlier improvements.

A recent analysis shared by Rzeczpospolita highlights the current state of women's representation in management roles within various sectors in Poland, focusing on accounting, e-commerce, and property management, where women's participation is notably higher. The accounting and tax sector stands out with almost 55% of female presidents, reflecting a significant achievement for gender representation within corporate leadership. However, the study conducted by Dun & Bradstreet Poland surveyed 329,700 entities and indicated that despite progress in 2025, statistics for this year are not as encouraging.
