Dino annuls confidentiality break for Lulinha, approved by the CPMI of the INSS
Supreme Federal Court Minister Flávio Dino has annulled the decision to breach the confidentiality of Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, also known as Lulinha, along with other requests approved by the CPMI of the INSS.
In a significant legal decision, Minister Flávio Dino of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) has annulled decisions made by the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPMI) that authorized the breach of confidentiality for Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, commonly referred to as Lulinha. This ruling was made on Thursday, the 5th, and extends to all requests that were approved during the same CPMI session, which included the controversial decision to break Lulinha's banking and tax secrecy. Dino pointed out that the way the votes were cast was flawed, as they occurred in a single block during a session on February 26, 2026, which created a logical inconsistency regarding validity for some parties while nullifying it for others.
