Dino suspends the breaking of Lulinha's confidentiality approved by the INSS CPI

Brazil's Minister Flávio Dino has suspended a congressional committee's approval to break the banking and tax confidentiality of Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, known as Lulinha.

In Brazil, Minister Flávio Dino of the Supreme Federal Court has issued a decision to suspend a measure by the mixed CPI (Parliamentary Inquiry Commission) of INSS that approved the lifting of banking and tax secrecy for Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, affectionately known as Lulinha. This decision also affects businesswoman Roberta Moreira Luchsinger, a friend of President Lula's son. Dino's ruling was prompted by concerns regarding the manner in which the CPI approved the requirements, stating that 87 requests were voted on en masse without individualized justification for each, which included invasive measures such as the breaking of secrecy and other extensive inquiries to the Financial Activities Control Council (COAF).
