Show Rural receives first Rural ZIP Code in Paraná
The first Rural ZIP Code in Paraná has been awarded during the Show Rural Coopavel 2026 event, marking a significant advancement for rural integration in the state.
On February 11th, during the Show Rural Coopavel 2026 event, the president of Show Rural Coopavel, Dilvo Grolli, and general coordinator, Rogério Rizzardi, received the first Rural ZIP Code in Paraná. This delivery was made by Benno Henrique Doetzer, the regional superintendent of Territorial Development. The Rural ZIP Code initiative, part of the Paraná Mais Sustentável platform implemented by the state government, signifies an important step toward better integration and connectivity for rural areas across Paraná.
Benno explained that the Rural Environmental Registry (CAR) database, validated by the state, enables producers to generate a digital address for their properties. This digital transformation allows rural producers to receive deliveries, including orders from food apps, and efficiently map routes, offering conveniences traditionally associated with urban living. This innovation represents a promising enhancement for agricultural activities as well.
The introduction of a Rural ZIP Code is expected to have far-reaching implications for the logistical and operational aspects of rural life. It not only facilitates the delivery of goods and services but also aims to bridge the gap between urban and rural commerce, making life in the countryside more practical and integrated with technological advancements. This initiative reflects a broader commitment from the state government to improve the quality of life in rural areas and promote sustainable development in agriculture.
