Rondônia Rural Show: hotels fully booked three months before the international fair in Ji-Paraná, RO

Hotels in Ji-Paraná, Brazil, are fully booked three months ahead of the Rondônia Rural Show, the largest agribusiness event in the Amazon.

With three months remaining until the 13th edition of the Rondônia Rural Show Internacional, hotels in Ji-Paraná and nearby cities are already fully booked for the period of the fair, set to take place from May 25 to 30. This event is regarded as the largest agribusiness fair in the Amazon and has a significant impact on the local economy, generating activity even before its official opening.

The theme for this year's event is "Exportation and Development," highlighting the importance of showcasing agricultural innovations and promoting local products on a global level. As reported by the manager of a local hotel, Rodrigo Domingos, demand for accommodation begins as early as January, with all available rooms being snapped up quickly. Ji-Paraná, the host municipality, has been experiencing this trend for several years, which suggests a growing interest and investment in agribusiness activities within the region.

In addition to Ji-Paraná, neighboring towns such as Ouro Preto do Oeste, located about 40 km away, are also feeling the effects of this surge in demand. Locals are noting that 75% of their hotel reservations are already filled, illustrating the widespread appeal of the fair and the boost it brings to the local economy. As the event date approaches, both the hospitality sector and agricultural communities in the region are preparing for what promises to be a transformative week for agribusiness in the Amazon region.
