In the early hours of Wednesday, November 4, a house belonging to an entrepreneur in the Matinha neighborhood of Teresina, Brazil, was burglarized by three individuals who were seen on a security camera stealing a refrigerator and microwave from the front of the residence. The incident occurred while the homeowners were away, and the criminals forced open the gate to gain entry into the property. On the morning of Thursday, November 5, police located the stolen refrigerator on an abandoned lot in the Ilhotas neighborhood. In addition to the refrigerator, law enforcement also discovered bulletproof vests, balaclavas, communication radios, and other suspected stolen items at the scene, indicating a larger pattern of criminal activity in the area. According to police delegate Tales Gomes, the site appears to be used solely for storing stolen goods.
