Estonian tennis player Elena Malõgina, ranked WTA 306, showcased her talent at the W50 level ITF tennis tournament held in Helsinki, successfully making her way to the quarterfinals in the singles competition. In her first-round match, Malõgina faced off against Hungary's Adrienn Nagy (WTA 654), where she only allowed three games to be scored against her, demonstrating exceptional skill and control over the match.

Continuing her strong performance into the second round, Malõgina faced Slovakia's Viktoria Hruncakova (WTA 217), who is currently ranked at her career-high of 43rd in the world.
