Elena Malõgina, Estonia's top-ranked female tennis player, is competing in the W50 level ITF tennis tournament in Helsinki this week. She participated in the doubles event, partnering with American player Rasheeda McAdoo, and managed to secure a convincing victory in the first round against the Finnish pair Iben Mol and Nuppu Palm, winning with a score of 6:4, 6:0. The first set held some tension as Malõgina and McAdoo had to fend off a break point at 5-2, but they maintained their composure and dominated the second set, which featured only one game that reached deuce.
