Särkänniemi Reduced Prices

The Särkänniemi amusement park in Tampere has lowered the ticket prices for its popular wristband to make it more accessible for families.

Särkänniemi amusement park, located in Tampere, Finland, has announced a reduction in the price of its popular wristband when purchased at the gate. The new price is €52, while online purchases cost €51. This wristband offers access not only to the amusement park rides but also to Näsinneula, an aquarium, a planetarium, and the Koiramäki petting zoo. The park's management hopes this pricing strategy will encourage more families to visit, especially with the upcoming launch of new attractions.

In addition to the wristband price cut, Särkänniemi has also reduced prices for its ride wristbands available at the gate. Eeva Muurimäki, the head of Särkänniemi's amusement park operations, stated that although the park is introducing new experiences and attractions, such as a new roller coaster named Konect and a hamburger restaurant set to open in May, they have chosen not to raise prices. This decision aligns with their goal of making more experiences available to families.

The new Konect roller coaster, which has been highly anticipated, is also set to open in May, contributing to the park's expanding offerings. The strategy to lower prices is part of Särkänniemi's broader effort to remain accessible to families while enhancing their visit with new attractions and dining options. The amusement park’s focus on providing affordable access to entertainment is commendable, especially in today’s economic climate.
