The court has mandated that the resort pay R$ 25,000 in moral damages for the distress caused to the family and cover R$ 11,973.04 in medical expenses incurred due to the accident. The incident, which occurred in July 2022 at the hotel's newly opened water park, involved the mother and child being ejected from the slide during their descent. Fortunately, the mother was able to grasp her child, but they both struck a support post situated within the pool area, leading to their injuries.
