A teenager was apprehended in Resende for suspected drug trafficking activities.
On Monday, a teenager was apprehended in Resende, Brazil, on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking. The arrest occurred in the MutirΓ£o neighborhood after police received a tip-off regarding drug activities in the area. Upon arrival, officers monitored the situation and identified the adolescent behaving suspiciously and located near a school. When approached, the young suspect attempted to flee into nearby woods but was quickly captured by the police.
During the apprehension, law enforcement officials seized a significant quantity of drugs from the teenager, including 159 packets of cocaine, 18 packages of skank, and 102 crack rocks. Additionally, police found R$ 67.00 in cash and a mobile phone in his possession. Following the arrest, the teenager was taken to the Resende police station accompanied by his mother, where he was formally charged with actions analogous to drug trafficking. Because he did not have any previous criminal history, he was allowed to await further legal proceedings at home.
