The used car market in Argentina is currently facing a downturn, with sales figures reflecting a concerning trend. After a promising start in 2025, the market began the year on a low note, experiencing a nearly 10% decrease in January sales, only to plummet by an additional 12.6% in February. According to data from the Cámara del Comercio Automotor (CCA), a total of 130,229 used cars were sold in February, representing a 15% decrease from January's sales. Overall, in the first two months of the year, 283,299 used cars changed hands, marking an 11.2% decline compared to the same period in 2025.
