10 used cars available for under $15 million in March 2026: one by one, by brand and model
The used car market in Argentina is experiencing a decline in activity, with sales down compared to the previous year as the market prepares for a more competitive 2026.
The used car market in Argentina is showing signs of a slowdown as it enters 2026, following a record year in 2025. February sales dropped significantly, confirming a trend that had begun in January, with used vehicle transactions falling by 12.6% year-on-year. This downturn in sales figures suggests that the market is anticipating a more competitive landscape in the coming months, with an increased supply of vehicles expected.
In February alone, 130,229 used vehicles were sold across the country, marking a decrease from 149,004 units sold in the same month of the previous year. A similar decline was observed when compared to January figures, which saw 153,070 sales. The cumulative figure for the first two months of the year stands at 283,299 units, down 11.2% compared to the same period in 2025, reflecting a broader trend of declining demand for used cars.
Despite the overall decline, certain models and brands within the used car market remain accessible options for buyers, priced below 15 million pesos. This highlights that even in a challenging market environment, there are still viable choices for consumers looking for affordable used vehicles, emphasizing the ongoing importance of price sensitivity in car purchases in Argentina.
