The Japanese automaker Toyota has chosen to hold the line on pricing for its vehicle lineup in March 2026, including the highly anticipated Yaris Cross. This new compact SUV is significant as it fills a gap in Toyota’s offerings in the local market. Previously, customers would need to jump directly from the Yaris or Corolla models to the larger Corolla Cross, making the Yaris Cross a strategic addition to capture interest in the B-segment SUV market.

The Yaris Cross is imported from Brazil and is available in five different variants: two hybrid and three gasoline options, with prices consistent with their launch metrics. The prices for the Yaris Cross models range from approximately $41 million to $54 million Argentine pesos. These price points are designed to remain attractive amidst the current market conditions, allowing consumers who have previously engaged with Toyota at lower entry-level models, such as the Etios or regular Yaris, to naturally progress to this new SUV offering.

The introduction of the Yaris Cross represents not only an expansion of Toyota's local portfolio but also a tactical move to secure a larger share of the growing SUV market in Argentina.
