Over 5 million euros raised for Ukraine through the national campaign 'Radarom!'

The national fundraising campaign 'Radarom!' has successfully raised over 5 million euros to support Ukraine, including significant contributions from businesses and local residents.

The national fundraising initiative 'Radarom!', jointly organized by LRT, 'Stiprūs kartu', 'Laisvės TV', and 'Blue Yellow', has raised a significant amount of over 5 million euros for Ukraine. Local businesses have played a crucial role, with 'NT Service' committing to donate various state-of-the-art anti-drone equipment worth 563,000 euros to aid Ukrainian soldiers. This campaign illustrates a robust collaborative effort in Lithuania to support Ukraine amidst ongoing challenges, with the total funds raised reaching 5,121,730 euros.

The funds collected are already making a tangible impact on the front lines, as three platoons of robots have been formed, with additional units being created to meet specific needs of soldiers. The primary aim of this year’s 'RADAROM!' initiative is to gather support for aerial and ground robot platoons, which are designed to operate in high-risk areas and perform tasks remotely, thereby reducing direct threats to human lives. This innovative approach emphasizes the importance of robotic systems in modern warfare and casualty evacuation solutions.

Active participation from both Lithuanian citizens and businesses has been instrumental in the success of the campaign. They have not only donated a significant portion of funds but also supported the initiative through their internal campaigns, auctions, and other forms of sponsorship. This collective spirit not only highlights Lithuania's commitment to helping Ukraine but also fosters a sense of national unity and purpose in facing global challenges.
