From Tuesday to Friday, Capão Bonito in São Paulo will host the Carreta do CozinhAlimento, a mobile unit designed for professional training, offering free culinary and entrepreneurship courses. The initiative is a collaborative effort between the São Paulo State Government, through the Secretary of Agriculture and Supply, and the Capão Bonito City Hall. The main goal of this project is to stimulate income generation and expand job opportunities for the local community.
The program aims to support small entrepreneurs, freelancers, and anyone interested in developing culinary skills that could lead to financial benefits. The courses will take place at the Administration Regional da Vila Aparecida (ARVA), located on Rua Brás Lucas Neto, and interested individuals can register online to participate. This opportunity reflects efforts to enhance local economic development through skill-building and vocational training.
Additionally, the workshops will not only cover basic culinary skills but also aspects of entrepreneurship which are crucial for turning cooking skills into a viable business. By providing these resources, the initiative seeks to empower residents, particularly those who may face challenges in accessing traditional education and job opportunities. This program underlines the value of practical education in fostering community resilience and economic sustainability.
