Aigro Advances to the Second Round at Kulm Ski Jumping Event

Estonian ski jumper Artti Aigro successfully qualified for the finals at the Kulm ski jump competition in Austria, securing a place in the second round.

Artti Aigro, representing Estonia, showcased a commendable performance at the World Cup ski jumping event held in Kulm, Austria. He managed to qualify for the finals after registering a jump of 203 meters, earning him a score of 171.0 points during the qualification stage, placing him in 12th position. Despite eventually finishing 26th after the competition proceeded, Aigro's initial performance highlighted his potential on the international stage.

In the first round of the main competition, Aigro achieved a jump of 204 meters with a score of 174.4 points, which secured him 22nd place and advancement to the second round. The results were competitive, with Domen Prevc from Slovenia leading the qualifications with an impressive 238-meter jump, scoring 230.6 points. Other notable competitors included Austrian Stephan Embacher and Norwegian Johann Andre Forfang, who demonstrated similar high-level performances, indicating a tightly contested skiing event.

Domen Prevc, a previous two-time gold medalist from the Milan-Cortina event, is currently close to securing his first overall title in the World Cup series this season, showcasing the emerging talent and depth in the sport as multiple athletes vie for the top positions in future competitions.
