Aigro qualified for the main competition in Austria with a solid jump

Estonian ski jumper Artti Aigro secured a spot among the top 40 in the World Cup season by qualifying for the main competition in Austria.

Artti Aigro, a 26-year-old Estonian ski jumper, continued his performance in the World Cup season with a commendable jump at the Kulm hill in Austria, landing at a distance of 203 meters and earning 179.2 points. He initially ranked fourth in the overall standings following his jump, successfully ensuring his place in the main competition. Despite a strong showing, Aigro ultimately finished 24th among 56 competitors after the main event.

In the competition, the top spot was claimed by the Austrian athlete Stephen Embacher, who achieved a remarkable jump of 219 meters, scoring 210.4 points. He was followed by Japanese jumper Naoki Nakamura in second place with a jump of 218.5 meters, earning 208.9 points, and Domen Prevc, the World Cup leader who previously won the large hill event at the Milano Cortina Olympics, finished third with a jump of 208.5 meters and 205.3 points.
