Aigro qualified for the final competition at Kulm ski jump for the second time in a row

Estonian ski jumper Artti Aigro successfully qualified for the final event at the Kulm ski jump in Austria after a strong performance, despite finishing in 26th place overall.

Artti Aigro, the Estonian ski jumper, continued his successful performance at the World Cup stage in Kulm, Austria, securing his place in the final competition for the second consecutive time. His jump of 203 meters earned him a score of 171.0 points, placing him 12th after his jump and ensuring his progression to the finals. However, after all competitors completed their jumps, Aigro ended up in 26th place overall.

The competition saw a remarkable performance from Slovenia's Domen Prevc, who achieved the longest jump of 240.5 meters and scored 217.5 points, marking him as the leader in the event. Austria's Stephan Embacher and Norway's Marius Lindvik and Johann Andre Forfang followed closely behind, with impressive jumps of 228 meters and 233 meters respectively. Prevc, who has already claimed two gold medals at the Milano Cortina Olympics, is well on track to secure his first overall victory in the World Cup series this season with a total of 1714 points, significantly ahead of Japan's Ryoyu Kobayashi, who has 693 points.

With only 11 events remaining in the current World Cup season, the competition is heating up as elite ski jumpers vie for crucial points leading into the finals.
