Two separate traffic accidents in Estonia resulted in injuries and six drivers were removed from the roads due to signs of alcohol or drug use.

On a recent day in Estonia, two traffic accidents resulted in injuries to two individuals and led to the removal of six drivers exhibiting signs of alcohol or drug consumption. The first incident occurred at the intersection of Saare Street and Sõpruse Boulevard in Tartu, where a 44-year-old man, driving a Mercedes-Benz GLS 350D while under the influence, struck a 64-year-old woman crossing the road. She was subsequently transported to the hospital for treatment.

The second traffic accident took place around midday in Mustvee parish, Jõgevamaa, on the Jõhvi – Tartu – Valga highway. A 67-year-old man attempting to make a left turn in an Opel Insignia Sports Tourer failed to yield to an oncoming Audi A4 Avant, driven by a 68-year-old man. This collision resulted in injuries to the Opel's passenger, a 64-year-old woman, who also required hospitalization.
