Ukrainian wins on the first day of Miss Valentine GP event

Ukrainian gymnast Taisiia Onofriitšuk triumphed in the all-around competition on the first day of the Miss Valentine Grand Prix event held in Tartu, Estonia.

On the opening day of the Miss Valentine Grand Prix event in Tartu, Ukraine's Taisiia Onofriitšuk took the top spot in the all-around competition by accumulating 114.85 points. The competition saw her best the second-place finisher, Liliana Lewinska from Poland, who scored 111 points, and Sofia Raffaeli from Italy, who came in third with 110.15 points. The competition highlighted the skills of the gymnasts through various routines involving hoops, balls, clubs, and ribbons.

Event organizer Janika Mölder noted that the competition showcased a high level of talent, despite several athletes facing difficulties in their performances. She suggested that the challenges experienced by the gymnasts could be attributed to the early stages of the season. The notable performances came from multiple countries, with the best Estonian gymnast Sofia Jakovleva finishing in fifth place with a score of 105.15 points. This indicates the competitive landscape of rhythmic gymnastics on an international level where athletes are vying for recognition and rankings early in the season.

The Rütmika gymnastics club secured victory in the group competition with a score of 41.066 points, while Japan's team took silver with 40.6 points, and Finland's Edelia secured the bronze with 36.083 points. As the event progresses, individual performances will wrap up on Sunday, marking an essential point in the calendar for these athletes aiming for future success in rhythmic gymnastics competitions.
