Miss Valentine Grand Prix event is led by a Ukrainian after the first day
Ukrainian gymnast Taisiia Onofriichuk leads the all-around competition after the first day of the Miss Valentine Grand Prix in Tartu.
During the first day of the Miss Valentine Grand Prix in Tartu, Ukrainian gymnast Taisiia Onofriichuk took the lead in the all-around competition, scoring 114.85 points. She was followed closely by Poland's Liliana Lewinska with 111 points and Italy's Sofia Raffaeli with 110.15 points. The best-performing Estonian gymnast in this category was Sofia Jakovleva, who finished fifth with a score of 105.15 points.
The event featured performances with hoop, ball, club, and ribbon, showcasing high levels of talent among the participants. Miss Valentine organizer Janika Mölder noted that although the competition level was very strong, many skilled gymnasts encountered difficulties with their routines. She attributed these challenges to the fact that the season is just starting, suggesting that athletes may not yet be at their peak performance.
The Miss Valentine Grand Prix will conclude on Sunday with the individual apparatus finals, where gymnasts will have another opportunity to compete for podium positions. This event not only highlights the talent of Ukrainian gymnasts but also emphasizes the competitive spirit within the rhythm gymnastics community in Estonia and beyond.
