The Miss Valentine gymnastics competition, taking place this week in Tartu, Estonia, features elite athletes from around the world, showcasing their skills and competing for top honors. Among the competitors is Sofia Raffaeli, the Italian gymnast who won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics, as well as Ukrainian champion Taisiia Onofriitšuk, who secured first place at last year's European Championships in Tallinn.
The event will bring together gymnasts from nearly 60 countries, emphasizing the international nature of the competition. Other notable participants include Tara Dragas from Italy, Geovanna Santos Da Silva from Brazil, and Evita Griskenas, a top U.S. gymnast of Lithuanian descent. The competition runs from Wednesday to Sunday and will feature athletes across various age categories, providing a platform for young gymnasts to compete alongside world-class talent.
Event organizer Janika Mölder highlighted the importance of this experience for young athletes, stating that it gives them a unique opportunity to compete on the same mat as the world's best and be inspired by their performances.
