New CEO for Technology Industries
Taina Susiluoto has been appointed the new CEO of Technology Industries in Finland, beginning her role on March 1.
Taina Susiluoto has been selected as the new CEO of Technology Industries, a major trade association in Finland representing export sectors. Her tenure is set to commence on March 1. Susiluoto holds a law degree and has a robust background in leadership positions across various Finnish organizations, including the Olympic Committee, the Confederation of Finnish Industries, and the Ministries of Employment and the Economy and Defence.
In her new role, the Technology Industries association heralds Susiluoto’s diverse experience and extensive societal networks as key attributes. The association envisions her potential to contribute meaningfully to discussions regarding Finland’s sustainable growth and competitiveness amid geopolitical uncertainties. This perspective aligns well with the organization's goals to strengthen Finland's position in the global marketplace, particularly in times of global economic flux.
The Technology Industries association is Finland's largest representative body for export sectors, comprising approximately 1,800 member companies. The current CEO, Minna Helle, will transition to her new role as the CEO of the Confederation of Finnish Industries (EK) at the beginning of April, making this leadership change notable within the Finnish industrial landscape.
