The 32nd edition of the Passion of Christ in Fernando de Noronha is set to occur on April 3 and 4, at the Historic Site of Vila dos Remédios. This free event is open to both locals and tourists, allowing everyone to partake in this traditional celebration. A general rehearsal will be held on April 1, which is also open to the public, while the following day will be dedicated to final adjustments before the official performances begin on Good Friday.

Amandi Cortez, a resident of the island, will portray Jesus Christ for the eighth time, while Mônica Mendonça from Brejo da Madre de Deus will take on the role of Mary for the fourth time. The show is directed by Ney Martins, who highlighted that the production involves 78 actors along with a total mobilization of 220 people, including extras, production staff, volunteers, and support personnel. This extensive cast reflects the community's commitment to preserving cultural traditions.

The Passion of Christ spectacle consists of 48 scenes and lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. It is scheduled to begin at 9 PM on Good Friday, followed by a performance on Easter Saturday.
