Korean culture is enjoyed with Kpop Fest: here are the dates and activities of the festival
The Kpop Fest in Guayaquil is set for March 5-8, featuring music performances, dance contests, and themed activities celebrating Kpop and Korean culture.
The third edition of Kpop Fest is being prepared in Guayaquil, Ecuador, taking place from March 5 to March 8 at the Mall del Norte. Organized by Budokan, this event aims to gather entrepreneurs, dance academies, fans, and enthusiasts of Korean culture in one location, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with activities for all ages.
Throughout the four days, attendees will be able to enjoy various musical performances, Kpop dance contests, karaoke sessions, and trivia games focused on the phenomenon of Kpop and Asian culture. A unique thematic proposal inspired by 'Kpop Demon Hunters' will be featured, which includes choreographies and immersive experiences tailored for Kpop fans. Additionally, there will be a designated area for children, where they can participate in a fashion show dressed as characters from films related to Kpop.
One of the highlights of this year's festival is an exhibition dedicated to the globally recognized boy band BTS, celebrating their impact on the music industry and their massive fan base worldwide. This event not only serves as entertainment but also promotes cultural exchange and appreciation of Korean culture within the local Ecuadorian community, showcasing how global trends can transcend borders and influence local events and gatherings.
