The authorities responded quickly to the gruesome discovery, identifying the latest victim as Erlon da Silva e Silva, age 26, whose murder was reported the following day. The head was initially discovered around 8:50 PM, prompting immediate police action. Less than three hours later, at 11:18 PM, authorities located a decapitated body in the Congós neighborhood, further deepening the mystery. The victim was identified as 27-year-old Wueverton da Silva Penafort, who had a police record for theft and robbery.
