Attica Road: New traffic regulations until April 30 – Where they will be applied
Traffic regulations are set to be implemented on sections of the Attica Road in the Pallini area from February 27 until April 30 due to ongoing asphalt maintenance work.
Starting from February 27, 2026, traffic regulations will be imposed in segments of the Attica Road located in Pallini, lasting until April 30, 2026. This initiative is a result of essential asphalt maintenance activities aimed at ensuring the safety and longevity of the road infrastructure. The police announcement outlines the specifics of the traffic changes expected during this period, affecting the flow of vehicles in both directions.
The regulations will include the blocking of the right lane and the deceleration lane at the Pallini Interchange (Y8) towards Rafina, allowing traffic to continue through the left and right lanes in that direction. In the opposite direction towards Pallini, vehicles will be directed via alternative routes, specifically following the Ymittos - Saint Demetrius route towards the Ymittos ring road entrance heading to Athens and the Pallini interchange. These measures are essential for maintaining road safety and minimizing disruption during the maintenance work.
Authorities advise drivers to remain aware of these traffic adjustments, as delays may occur, and to follow the designated routes to ensure a smoother commute. This proactive approach to road maintenance is part of broader efforts to improve the traffic infrastructure in the region, underscoring the importance of regular maintenance for public safety and efficient transportation.
