Attica Highway: Long-term traffic regulations in Pallini

Traffic restrictions will be in place on the Attica Highway from February 27 to April 30 due to maintenance work.

The Attica Highway will undergo maintenance work from February 27 to April 30, resulting in significant traffic restrictions. Throughout this period, the right lane and the deceleration lane at the Pallini interchange (Υ8) heading towards Rafina will be closed. Traffic will be redirected through the left and right lanes in the direction of Rafina, while access to Pallini will be routed through the Hymettus Ring Road and the Pallini interchange.

Additionally, the center and right lanes and deceleration lane at the Pallini interchange heading towards Rafina will also be restricted, with traffic to Rafina utilizing only the left lane. For travelers heading from Rafina to Pallini, a reroute will be established using the Hymettus Ring Road and on-ramps, aimed at minimizing disruption during the maintenance period.

These traffic changes are essential for ensuring the safety and upkeep of the highway infrastructure, and drivers are advised to plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays and congestion. The measures underline the importance of ongoing road maintenance as roads play a crucial role in connecting various regions in Greece, especially during the busy spring season when traffic is likely to increase.
