Attiki Odos: New traffic regulations until April 30

Drivers using Attiki Odos should be aware of new traffic regulations in effect due to road repairs until April 30.

Starting from February 27 until April 30, drivers on the Attiki Odos must exercise caution as emergency traffic regulations are in place in the area of Pallini due to ongoing asphalt repairs. The regulations include the closure of the right lane and the deceleration lane at the Pallini interchange (Y8) towards Rafina.

During these disruptions, traffic will be managed as follows: in the direction towards Rafina, vehicles will be permitted to use both the left and right traffic lanes, while in the direction towards Pallini, drivers will need to follow a specific route through the Ymittos ring road and the Pallini interchange. Additionally, closure of the middle and right lanes, along with the deceleration lane, will affect traffic heading towards Rafina, wherein only the left lane will be available.

These adjustments are significant as they aim to enhance road safety and improve the condition of the infrastructure. However, they may lead to increased congestion in the area, emphasizing the importance for drivers to plan their routes accordingly and remain attentive to changing traffic patterns throughout the enforcement period.
