In response to the devastating floods in Minas Gerais that have resulted in the deaths of 47 people, São José dos Campos has set up four locations for community donations. The initiative aims to assist those impacted by the torrential rains that have caused extensive damage in the region, particularly in the Zona da Mata area.

The donation points were opened on Thursday, the 26th, and will operate from 9 AM to 4 PM using a drive-thru model for convenience. Locations include a shopping mall parking lot, a city park, a public square, and a supermarket, making it accessible for residents to contribute to the relief efforts. This mobilization reflects community solidarity and the urgent need to provide essential supplies.

Among the items requested for donation are potable water and personal hygiene products such as soap, shampoo, and toothpaste.
