Latvia will gather students in traditional sports games of the Nordic region in May

In May, Latvia will host the SELL Student Games, featuring over 3000 participants from various European countries competing in multiple sports.

The SELL Student Games will take place in Riga, showcasing a variety of sports at the Rimi Olympic Center, with six out of fourteen sports included. Competitions will cover popular team sports such as 7x7 football, basketball, and volleyball, while also introducing lesser-known events like padeltenis. Additional venues for the games will be the Daugava Stadium, Rīga Stradiņő University, and sports centers in Sigulda and Smiltene.

Organizers expect over 3000 students from Latvia and abroad to participate, with schools from Estonia, Lithuania, Germany, Turkey, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Slovakia, and many more expressing interest.
