Baltic Student Song and Dance Festival 'Gaudeamus' to Take Place in Riga in June

The upcoming 20th Baltic Student Song and Dance Festival 'Gaudeamus' is set to take place in Riga, with a diverse lineup of performances from various student ensembles across the Baltic States. The event will include participation from 66 choirs, 44 folk dance groups, and 9 brass orchestras, symbolizing a rich cultural exchange among the nations. Education and Science Minister Dace Melbārde emphasized the event's significance as a unique tradition that began in 1956 in Tartu, reinforcing the unity and creative energy of Baltic students.
