Clouds will rain before Holi in Uttarakhand-Himachal, heat will rise in North-West India
There is a possibility of rain in several areas of India before Holi, particularly in Jammu-Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, while temperatures in North-West India are rising.
Before the festival of Holi, many regions across India may experience a resurgence of rainfall. There remains a prediction for rain specifically in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh. Concurrently, the plains of North-West India, including Delhi, are witnessing a rise in temperature, with noticeable heat felt during the day hours.
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather, various regions such as Kerala, Andaman-Nicobar Islands, and southern and interior Tamil Nadu have experienced rainfall over the past 24 hours. Additionally, light rainfall has been noted in coastal Odisha and Telangana. In the upcoming 24 hours, several locations in the Andaman-Nicobar Islands may also receive rainfall, alongside chances of light to moderate showers with thunder and lightning in parts of Telangana, North-interior Karnataka, and Kerala.
In the hilly states of Northern India, including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, there are projections of rain and thunderstorms in different areas. As the festival of Holi approaches, many regions are likely to see the effects of rainfall once again, contrasting with the elevated temperatures experienced recently.
