This year's 'Asian Pop Festival' will be held in May, a month early due to monsoon damage
The Asian Pop Festival 2026 will take place in Incheon on May 30-31, moved up a month to avoid monsoon season.
The Paradise Cultural Foundation has announced that the Asian Pop Festival 2026 will be held on May 30-31 at Paradise City in Incheon, moving the event up by a month this year to avoid the June monsoon. The festival utilizes the infrastructure of the Yeongjongdo complex resort, featuring stages at various venues including the outdoor lawn square 'Culture Park', the premium club 'Chroma', and more. During the festival, facilities such as the spa 'Cimer' will remain open late into the night, and there will be a 10% discount at food and beverage vendors.
This year's festival lineup includes notable performances, such as the first South Korean concert by Japanese singer Taeko Onuki, known for her work with the band Sugar Babe, marking over 50 years of her music career. Her celebrated album 'Songs', released in 1975, has been re-evaluated as a representative work of the city pop genre. Additionally, the domestic lineup highlights the 'Kim Chang-wan Band', led by Kim Chang-wan of Sanulrim, who recently released a new single, promising a performance that spans generations.
Tickets for the festival can be booked through Interpark, with prices set at 110,000 KRW for a one-day pass and 176,000 KRW for a two-day pass. The foundation aims to establish this festival as a sensory experience combining romance and relaxation, while also expanding its role as a platform for exchange in the Asian music market.
