The winner of the youth artists competition Livestage.Youth will be revealed on Saturday
On Saturday, the winner of the first Livestage.Youth competition for young artists will be determined in a live event featuring ten finalists.
The Livestage.Youth competition, aimed at young musicians, is being held for the first time this year, culminating in a live performance event on Saturday where ten finalists will showcase their talents. A jury will select the best among them. This initiative was created to provide young artists with stage experience and networking opportunities within the music industry, highlighting the need for such a platform due to strong participation interest from aspiring artists.
Brigitta Pruual, the lead organizer, explained that Livestage.Youth was established to create a safe yet professional environment for young musicians to put their creativity to the test. The final event will not only serve as a competition but also celebrate the emergence of new music talent. The finalists, consisting of solo artists and bands, were selected through a nationwide competition that attracted 49 applicants, indicating a vibrant interest in music among the youth.
Scheduled for February 28, the event will take place at the Paavli cultural factory, marking a significant opportunity for the finalists to perform publicly. The enthusiasm and strong participation in this inaugural competition reflect a growing community commitment to supporting young musicians and the live music scene in Estonia, paving the way for future events of this nature.
